Property Checkpoint being able just to capture the whole page.

Hi guys!
I'm a beginner in using testcomplete, so, I have a question that you guys will probably consider that very very newbie ;)

My question is, I've been using testcomplete for web and all the time that I try to use a property checkpoint, it just capture the whole page, I mean, I drag the the property checkpoint and it don't get the textbox, the labels, and etc, it is not been able to get any especific element on the web page that I tried, it just get the whole page. I tried in like 5 web pages and it happened all the time. Can  you guys help me ? What I did wrong in this case? What should I do when I want to choose a especific element on the page?
