    Hello Everyone!

    Thank you very much for your participation and providing very valuable feedback on the new SmartBeat product name.

    We now have the new name for the product: TestLeft! And even though we didn't not select a specific name that was suggested, we used all of your feedback in our decision process.

    The new product name signifies the Shift Left trend in the industry, where we see more and more developers involved in functional testing.

     

     

    We also have the 3 winners of our new product name contest, who will each receive a free 1 year license of the new product.

     

    Congratulations to AlexKaras, NisHera and cshukusky!

You didn't comment on the name Turbo - does it mean you didn't like it at all?

 

Also, could I ask you what are your main issues right now with using TestComplete IDE? And which IDEs are using right now, Eclipse, Visual Studio?

 

Any other feedback on how such product that allows you to develop tests inside an IDE in a native programming language, would be very valuable to us.

Missed Turbo. Turbo sounds like a Borland product, so not a great name,

With regards to the IDE, our project uses the scripting functionality only. When a developer needs to review or update a test script I have to spend time helping them install the Test Complete IDE, activate licensing and then train them on it. It would be more efficient for us to be able to write / update tests in Visual Studio.
